Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, presented his demands to Rupert Murdoch, the conservative media magnate, during a live appearance on Fox News on Friday morning.

He suggested that Murdoch cease the broadcast of negative advertisements and permit Democratic guests to appear on the network in the lead-up to Election Day.

“I’m going to see Rupert Murdoch.” Trump revealed during his appearance.

“That’s a big event. I don’t know if he’s thrilled that I say it. And I’m going to tell him, I’m gonna tell him something very simple because I can’t talk to anybody else about it: Don’t put on negative commercials for 21 days, don’t put them. And don’t put on the air their horrible people. They come and lie. I’m going to say, ‘Rupert, please do it this way.’” Trump continued after a brief acknowledgement from the hosts.

“Right,” Kilmeade said.

“And then we’re going to have a victory, because I think everyone wants that,” Trump concluded.

Over the past few years, Trump has repeatedly criticized Fox News and its owner over what he believes to be the company’s frequent anti-Trump positions.
