In a fiery tirade in Pennsylvania on Tuesday night, President Joe Biden reportedly referred to former President Donald Trump as a “loser” and accused him of running for president in order to avoid prison time.
A packed audience at the Philadelphia City Committee dinner was subjected to a no-holds-barred address that was intended to attack Trump.
Biden began his tirade by claiming that “more people are working today in America than any time since Trump left office; that’s just a fact. 401Ks are strong, violent crime is down, murder is down, and fewer people are crossing the border, and Trump calls that a hellscape? He talks about America being a failed nation; where the hell’s he from?”
“It makes me angry. I say America’s winning; we’re the most powerful nation in the world, the most respected nation in the world… Trump says we’re losers, but the only loser I know is Donald Trump.” Biden continued.
Biden further elaborated on his accusation by focusing on Trump’s self-proclaimed business acumen, specifically referencing the infamous Atlantic City casino failure.
“We all know Trump is a failed businessman. How is that possible? I thought the house always won. Pretty hard to do.” Biden said.
The president also capitalized on the opportunity to remind the audience of Trump’s legal issues.
Biden decided to drop out of the race earlier this summer in the wake of a disastrous debate performance against Trump .
