According to excerpts from the forthcoming Bob Woodward book, retired Gen. Mark Milley, the former Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reportedly referred to former President Trump as “a total fascist” and believes that he is the most perilous individual to the United States.

“He is the most dangerous person ever. I had suspicions when I talked to you about his mental decline and so forth, but now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is now the most dangerous person to this country,” Milley allegedly said.

Milley, who served as chair under both President Biden and Trump, also revealed that he believed he may be court-martialed if Trump is elected president next month.

This is due to the fact that the commander-in-chief has the authority to recall retired commissioned officers to active duty and administer a court-martial.

It is not impossible for such an event to occur, as Trump has frequently expressed his intention to exact retribution on those who have betrayed him in the past.

Woodward referenced Steve Bannon, a former senior Trump adviser, who earlier this year provided a list of individuals he believes Trump should pursue if he is elected to a second term.

The list includes Milley, former FBI directors Andrew McCabe and James Comey, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, and former Attorney General Bill Barr, all figures who have frequently been associated with the ‘deep state.’
