According to a poll released on Wednesday, Vice President Harris currently holds a three percentage point lead over former President Trump in the national election, which is less than a month away.

The survey conducted by the Economist/YouGov indicates that 48% of respondents expressed their support for Harris, while 45% supported Trump.

Nevertheless, the former president maintains a 40% advantage over Harris with independents, as opposed to Harris’s 32%.

The vice president was identified as the likely winner by 40% of survey respondents, regardless of their preference, while the former president was identified by 35%.

The poll indicated that approximately 25% of respondents were uncertain.

Among women, Harris maintains a 10-point advantage over Trump, while the Republican nominee maintains a 4-point advantage among men.

Additionally, the Democratic nominee maintains a double-digit advantage over the former president among individuals with an annual income exceeding $100,000.

The pollster observes that individuals with lesser incomes were more evenly distributed.

The survey also revealed that Democrats appeared to be more enthusiastic about voting in November.

The data indicates that approximately 68% of Democrats described themselves as “extremely” or “very enthusiastic” about casting their ballots, in contrast to 59% of Republicans.

Additionally, 57% of electors expressed their readiness to elect a female president. In terms of gender, 58% of women and 55% of males were in favor.

On the other hand, 23% of survey respondents expressed that the United States was not prepared to elect its first female leader, while 20% were uncertain.
