On Wednesday, the panel program Gutfeld! at Fox News attracted its largest audience to date when former President Donald Trump appeared in studio for an hour.

Trump participated in a conversation with host Greg Gutfeld and panelists Kat Timpf, Tyrus, and Emily Compagno, during which he discussed a variety of subjects, including the assassination attempts against him, his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, and the existence of extraterrestrial beings.

The episode attracted 4.9 million viewers and 744,000 in the 25-54 demographic.

Trump made his debut on Gutfeld! on Wednesday, although he had previously submitted calls to the program. Gutfeld is also a co-host of The Five on Fox and was the long-time presenter of the late-night show Red Eye.

The 4.9 million viewers are the highest ratings in the show’s history since its inception in 2021.

Prior to transitioning to weeknights, Gutfeld hosted a separate version of the show, The Greg Gutfeld Show, on weekends.

This news follows a series of other ratings victories for Gutfeld!, which is currently experiencing its highest-rated year.
