Former President Trump has now reportedly expressed his regret for not engaging in a real-time attack on the moderators of the ABC debate in which he engaged with Vice President Harris last week.

“I think my only regret is that I wanted to be elegant, and I didn’t want to go after the anchors. I wish I did, in a way,” Trump said.

“I was very unfairly treated by the anchor. I’m not fans of those guys anymore — and his hair was better five years ago,” he continued.

Muir and co-moderator Linsey Davis provided numerous fact-checks of Trump’s statements during the debate in Philadelphia, while offering none for vice-president Kamala Harris.

These included allegations that immigrants were consuming pets in a small Ohio community.

Following the debate, supporters of the former president expressed their dissatisfaction with ABC’s moderation of the discussion and accused the Disney-owned broadcast network of prejudice against him.
