Another alleged assassin has fired shots at former president Donald Trump’s golf club as he was leaving, according to The New York Post.

The Secret Service said in a statement that it responded “to a shooting near Donald Trump as he left his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida,” the newspaper explained. The Secret Service said the Republican nominee is safe.

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said Sunday afternoon.

Trump’s golf club is located merely five miles from his residence at his Mar-a-Lago. The former president is often seen golfing when not on the campaign trail.

UPDATE: It appears former President Trump survived another serious attempt on his life, by a gunman who was attempting to ambush him while he was golfing.
