According to Former President Trump, he has not yet been invited to participate in Joe Rogan’s renowned podcast or to participate in an interview with him.
“I don’t think there was any tension. And I’ve always liked him, but I don’t know him,” Trump said during a recent conversation with Lex Fridman.
“I only see him when I walk into the arena with Dana [White] and I shake his hand. I see him there, and I think he’s good at what he does, but I don’t know about doing his podcast. I guess I’d do it, but I haven’t been asked, and I’m not asking them. I’m not asking anybody.” he continued.
Over the past several weeks, Trump, the Republican nominee for president, has engaged in a multitude of interviews, videos, and sit-downs with prominent right-wing internet influencers and social media celebrities.
Rogan, who has amassed an audience of tens of millions and signed lucrative agreements with audio giant Spotify, consistently provokes backlash with controversial comments on a variety of topics, including climate change, antisemitism, and COVID-19.
In 2020, Rogan endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and expressed his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before the independent pulled out and endorsed Trump last month.
