In Arizona, a manhunt is reportedly now underway to locate a suspect who made a threat to murder former President Trump prior to a rally in the Copper State scheduled for later Thursday.

Ronald Lee Syrvud, 66, has been identified as the perpetrator by the Cochice County Sheriff’s Office.

Syrvud is currently facing outstanding warrants from the state of Wisconsin for DUI, failure to appear for DUI, and felony failure to register as a sex offender and hit-and-run in Graham County, Arizona, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office also stated that Syrvud is subject to an absconder hold due to his failure to register as a sexual offender.

The assassination attempt on the Republican presidential nominee during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month, has resulted in a threat against the life of former President Trump.
