Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg described former President Donald Trump’s reaction to his assassination attempt “one of the most bad*ss things I’ve ever seen in my life,” but did not endorse the former president’s campaign.

The Facebook co-founder made the remarks during an interview with Bloomberg’s Emily Chang for the tech podcast “The Circuit.”

“On a personal note… seeing Donald Trump get up after being shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most bad*ss things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg said.

Trump barely avoided being killed by an assassin’s bullet during Saturday’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

A bullet brushed the former president’s right ear, and he managed to duck down behind podium before being taken away by Secret Service officials. As he left the platform, he raised his fist and cried, “Fight!”

Law enforcement quickly returned fire, killing the shooter. At least one rallygoer was murdered, with two more injured.

One of the most widely circulated photographs from the chaotic minutes following the shooting shows Trump raising his fist, with the American flag in the background.

Zuckerberg, 40, clarified that he will not endorse either contender in the 2024 presidential contest.

The internet CEO also stated that his business, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is delivering less political content to consumers this election year than in previous years, when the social media platform was criticized for promoting various kinds of deception and censorship.
