Just two days after being wounded in the ear by a would-be assassin, former president Donald Trump reportedly made an incredible appearance on Monday night at the Republican National Convention’s opening night to raucous applause.

Shots were fired during Trump’s speech at a rally in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; one of them struck the former president in the ear.

After being hauled onto the platform by Secret Service operatives, a bleeding Trump got to his feet, raised his fist, and yelled, “Fight.”

Even though he won’t be giving his acceptance speech until Thursday, the former president attended the RNC in Milwaukee on Monday while wearing a bandage over his ear.

Singer Lee Greenwood performed a rendition of “God Bless the U.S.A.” before introducing him.

It was not surprise that the audience gave a tremendous cheer when they finally glimpsed Trump.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) was also selected by Trump earlier in the day to be his vice presidential running mate.

For the third time in a row, the convention formally nominated Trump as the Republican contender for president on Monday.

Trump and President Joe Biden will square off in a replay of the 2020 contest. Vance laid the blame on Biden shortly after Trump was shot.

In a broader sense, Republicans have claimed that Democrats are to responsible for labeling Trump as a danger to democracy following his unsuccessful attempt to rig the 2020 election.
