According to a recent poll, former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in Georgia, a key swing state, just before the two square off in the first presidential debate.

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution poll, Trump leads the Democratic incumbent by 5 points, with the two receiving 43 percent and 38 percent of potential Georgia voters, respectively.

According to the poll, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came in third at 9%, with 8% unsure.

One percent indicated they wouldn’t vote, one percent said they’d vote for Libertarian Chase Oliver, and one percent said they’d vote for someone else.

The battleground state, which has 16 electoral votes, might determine the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 5th.

The poll comes just days before Trump and Biden square off in the first presidential debate of the 2016 campaign, which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, June 27th.

A number of recent surveys have suggested that the Democratic incumbent may be struggling in other key battleground states as well.
