Former President Trump urged President Biden to undergo a drug test before of Thursday’s presidential debate to rule out the possibility that he is taking performance enhancing drugs, stressing that he will also take one.
“DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The former president and his allies have often hinted that Biden would take a performance-enhancing medication before the debate, with some already dismissing any positive performance by the incumbent as a ruse.
Neither Trump nor others have shown any real evidence to back up their statements.
In two additional postings on Truth Social, Trump praised Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), who wrote to the president and his physician on Monday, urging that he take drug tests before and after the debate.
The former president and his associates have often portrayed Biden as an elderly, frail man unsuitable to serve a second term.
They made the drug charge earlier this year after Biden’s State of the Union address.
