On Sunday, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki asserted that former President Donald Trump was not conducting a 2024 campaign with the intention of winning; rather, she claimed that he was doing so solely to prevent himself from being incarcerated.
Psaki made the comments during the Sunday broadcast of her MSNBC show “Inside with Jen Psaki.”
She contended that President Joe Biden’s recent speech in Normandy, France, which commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day, was evidence that his values were more in line with those of the American people than those of Trump.

Psaki stated that Biden’s speech, which focused as much on Ukraine as it did on D-Day and included one story that appeared to have been ripped and only slightly modified from the late President Ronald Reagan’s 1984 address, communicated to the American people who he was and what he valued.
Consequently, it was crucial to listen to his words while he was overseas.
Despite the fact that the majority of individuals perceived Biden as simply repeating Reagan’s 40th anniversary remarks and believed that the president, who had previously been accused of plagiarism, was repeating himself, the former White House Press Secretary interpreted the comparison as both beneficial and deliberate.
This was due to the fact that Biden delivered his remarks from the same location as Reagan.
She then shifted the focus to Trump, asserting that he was more concerned with the potential immunity from prosecution that reelection as president might offer.
“The truth is Trump couldn’t really care less about preserving the values that the U.S. has long stood for,” she said. “His campaign is not about preserving our freedom, it’s about preserving his own. It’s not about upholding American greatness. It’s about staying out of prison.” Psaki said during the segment.
