The jury in the Stormy Daniels hush money trial returned “guilty” verdicts on all 34 felony counts last Thursday, and Judge Juan Merchan has scheduled sentencing for July 11. The blows just keep coming.
In addition to becoming a “convicted felon,” Trump is now at risk of losing his firearms rights, a fact that the Biden campaign in a gloating campaign memo this week:
“Donald Trump is a convicted felon who may soon lose his right to carry a gun. Good. Most Americans would prefer living in a country where an unhinged felon who has also been found liable for sexual abuse cannot own a firearm.” the memo read.
“When Trump tells the NRA he won’t do a damn thing to prevent convicted felons, domestic abusers, and other dangerous people from getting their hands on guns, he’s talking about himself. The problem for Donald Trump is that Joe Biden is president and he is not — so just like he told the victims of gun violence– he should ‘get over it.’” Biden-Harris 2024 Spokesperson James Singer said in another statement released the day before.
Additionally, excerpts from numerous news articles regarding Trump’s circumstances were also included in the memo.
