REPORT: NY Moving to Take Away Trump’s Gun Permit

His concealed carry license was suspended in April 2023 following the indictment of former President Donald Trump in New York.

The New York City Police Department is reportedly in the process of revoke it in its entirety.

CNN reported that Trump relinquished two pistols he was licensed to carry on March 31, 2023, according to a senior NYPD official.

However, CNN also states that another gun listed on Trump’s license was “lawfully moved to Florida.”

The official stated that the NYPD’s Legal Bureau’s investigation will likely result in the revocation of his license, although Trump could contest the decision at a hearing.

It is a federal offense for Trump to possess a firearm, as he was convicted of 34 felonies during his Manhattan trial.

Law enforcement sources informed CNN that Trump has been authorized to carry a concealed firearm by the New York Police Department for more than a decade.
