On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump launched an attack against MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell after observing the former in the courthouse during the Stormy Daniels trial in New York.
Following a lengthy day in court during which Daniels testified in graphic detail about her alleged affair with the former president, Trump published the statement statement ripping O’Donnell.
“I spotted Ratings Challenged Lawrence O’Donnell, of MSDNC, in the Courthouse today. I haven’t seen him in years. He looks like shit, a real loser! DJT” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
O’Donnell, who has been providing courtroom coverage of Trump’s New York case since last week, asserted on Friday that after the two men locked eyes, Trump gave him a “intimidating” and “crazy face” in response.
“When he was walking by my position at the aisle, he decided he was going to stare at me with what I’m sure he was hoping was some kind of intimidating look, but he was trying to load so much into it, anger, and hatred, that it just became a crazy look. It was just a crazy face, and I was just, you know, lightly smiling back at him, hoping he could read my mind, which was to — which would have been if I had a question, how stupid does it feel that your life has ended up in this room in this way?” O’Donnell claimed.
