Former President Trump criticized NPR in response to one of its editors publicly condemning the public broadcaster, alleging it of displaying bias.

Trump expressed his disapproval following an op-ed by Uri Berliner, a long-serving senior editor at NPR, in which he claimed that the organization has deviated from its original path and criticized its approach to editorial decision-making.

“NO MORE FUNDING FOR NPR, A TOTAL SCAM! EDITOR SAID THEY HAVE NO REPUBLICANS, AND IS ONLY USED TO ‘DAMAGE TRUMP.’ THEY ARE A LIBERAL DISINFORMATION MACHINE. NOT ONE DOLLAR!!!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“An open-minded spirit no longer exists within NPR, and now, predictably, we don’t have an audience that reflects America,” Berliner had written in his tell all essay.

NPR’s leadership strongly objected to the editor’s column and attempted to deny it’s well documented history of liberal bias.
