An individual from Venezuela, who unlawfully entered the country, is currently under investigation for possible federal firearm charges. This person had been promoting the illegal occupation of homes by other undocumented individuals.

Leonel Moreno, who was apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, entered the United States without proper documentation in April 2022.

According to a report by The New York Post, recently obtained internal federal documents reveal that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has been in communication with immigration officials and is contemplating the possibility of pressing federal charges against the individual in question.

“The exact charges are not known, but sources said they would likely be brought under a section of the Gun Control Act which prohibits those on parole from possessing, shipping, transporting or receiving firearms or ammunition,” the report read.

Moreno shared videos on social media showcasing his visits to firearms stores, where he confidently held various firearms and engaged his followers by asking for their preferences.

He casually mentioned the ease of purchasing these firearms in stores.
