In an interview with NBC News on Tuesday, Lara Trump expressed her belief that the Republican Party has moved beyond questioning the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

Despite ongoing claims of election fraud by her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, she made remarks that contradict his narrative.

“Well, I think we’re past that. I think that’s in the past. We learned a lot. Certainly, we took a lot of notes.” Trump said.

“The past is the past, and unfortunately, we had to learn a couple of hard lessons in 2020. Believe me, we are taking those, we are applying them all across this country in every single state and we want to ensure that indeed, every single legal vote was counted,” she continued.

In a short span of time since assuming a leadership role at the RNC, Lara Trump’s remarks indicate a notable change within the GOP.

In early March, the RNC made the decision to lay off over 60 individuals, including senior staff members.

In an interview with NBC, Lara Trump discussed the party’s staffing concerns.

In light of former President Trump emerging as the sole GOP presidential candidate for the upcoming November election, Lara Trump has emphasized the Republican National Committee’s dedication to promoting fresh voting concepts.

Prior to assuming one of the party’s prominent positions, Lara Trump expressed her commitment to utilizing the RNC’s funds in their entirety to ensure the return of Trump to the White House.
