Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) endorsed former President Trump, signatory to Nikki Haley’s South Carolina, which is his most recent state of residence.
Monday, Mace made the announcement that the time has come to rally support for a nominee.
Mace initially verified on Monday that she was supporting Trump over Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and resident in her congressional district who campaigned in her favor during the 2022 midterm elections.
Today I’m endorsing Donald J. Trump for President.
I don’t see eye to eye perfectly with any candidate. And until now I’ve stayed out of it. But the time has come to unite behind our nominee.
To be honest, it’s been a complete shit show since he left the White House.

Haley, a former United Nations ambassador for Trump, is the sole candidate remaining in the Republican primary after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ceased his presidential campaign on Sunday, subsequent to an unsatisfactory performance in the Iowa caucuses last week.
Mace’s endorsement of the former president follows a string of other endorsements from South Carolina, which occurred approximately one month prior to the state’s primary election.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), who withdrew his Republican presidential campaign in November, endorsed Trump late last week. Henry McMaster (R), the lieutenant governor of South Carolina during Haley’s administration, endorsed the former president a year ago.
