Bill Maher Blasts Donna Brazile’s ‘Racism’ After She Mispronounces Ramaswamy’s Name

On Friday’s recording of “Real Time With Bill Maher,” Donna Brazile was criticized by Bill Maher for twice incorrectly pronouncing the name of Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Brazile, a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair and political strategist, mispronounced “Vivek” when he stated, “He needs to shut the hell up and go home.”

Democratic strategist Vivek Brazile responded “well whatever” when Maher promptly corrected hem, pronouncing “it’s Vivek” with the correct pronunciation.

Brazile then proceeded to mispronounce the name of Ramaswamy.

“I learn so much when I come on this show,” Brazile responded when confronted about her mispronunciation.

“I just feel like there’s something wrong with everybody refusing to learn to say his name. I just feel there’s a little racism there,” Maher responded.

Ramaswamy responded later on social media to Brazile’s slight, in the process calling out the double standard concerning racist speech frequently held by many Democrats:
