Wednesday saw Jewish students detained inside the famed Cooper Union College campus library in Manhattan while pro-Palestinian demonstrators outside the institution demanded that the Intifada be made global.
Numerous sources state that when the demonstrators got closer to the library and the doors were locked, the students informed security that they felt unsafe.
Jewish students at Cooper Union College have been locked inside the library for their own safety as a mob of anti Israeli protesters block the doors.

As they pounded on the doors, the demonstrators chanted phrases like “Globalize the Intifada” and “Free, free Palestine.”
Throughout the demonstration, former Israeli Consulate in New York media director Jake Novak provided updates based on information he learned from students.
