James Carville, a Democratic strategist, is reportedly now attempting to alert his party to the possibility that Vice President Biden might lose to former President Trump in 2024.
The political organization No Labels’ attempt to place a nonpartisan ticket on the ballot has drawn criticism from Carville, a senior political advisor to the late President Clinton.
“Let’s say the election was November the third of this year. And they said the candidates are Joe Biden the Democrat, Donald Trump the Republican, Joe Manchin and Larry Hogan No Labels and Cornel West. Trump would be a betting favorite. If I told you I would give you even money, you would not take that bet,” Carville said during a recent podcast appearance.
“And so somebody better wake the f‑‑‑ up,” he said.
Additionally, he has criticized Democrats’ efforts to keep Joe Biden in office despite people’ worries that he is too old for the position.
Maher expressed doubt about Biden’s reelection effort and said he agreed with Carville.
Although Biden may have been the only Democrat with a chance of defeating Trump in 2020, he claimed that Biden is now “the only one who will lose to him.”
According to a recent YouGov/Yahoo News poll, registered voters are evenly divided between Biden and Trump in terms of support, with 44% stating they won’t vote and 7% remaining unsure.
