As they intensify their inquiry into the first family, House Republicans are now reportedly looking into President Joe Biden’s suspected use of a false name to allegedly conceal his identity.

James Comer, the chairman of the oversight committee, reportedly wrote to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) on Thursday asking for any unredacted documents and correspondence pertaining to Vice President Joe Biden’s official obligations that coincided with his son Hunter’s activities in Ukraine.

Comer stated that he is specifically looking for any records in which the senior Biden allegedly used a pseudonym; copies of any correspondence between his son’s former business associates Hunter Biden, Eric Schwerin, or Devon Archer; and all versions of the vice president’s December 2015 speech to the Ukrainian parliament.

Comer stated that the oversight committee requests unlimited special access to Case Number 2023-0022-F under the Presidential Records Act (PRA).

Hunter was a board member of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy firm, for several years.

This profitable arrangement, along with other international business deals, has attracted the attention of investigators. During the period of January 2009 to January 2017, Joe Biden was the vice president.

Comer requested that NARA deliver the needed files by August 31.

Years ago, Joe Biden insisted that he had never discussed business with Hunter, but as the oversight group unearthed more proof, the White House began to assert that the older Biden never conducted business with his son.

A criminal investigation into Hunter Biden has so far produced allegations of tax evasion and firearms possession.

Attorney General Merrick Garland named Delaware’s U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel after a plea agreement collapsed, giving the prosecutor greater ability to file charges in jurisdictions other than his own.
