GOP Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, according to Joe Rogan, is damaging his standing in the state and has little chance of defeating former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential primary.
Due to Trump’s “cult” of fervent fans, Rogan claimed DeSantis lacks the charisma to effectively challenge him in the primary.
“Trump just has this cult behind him. I mean, these people that love Trump, that he’s their hero. The things that he says, the bombastic personality, the way he can control a room, the way he speaks in an arena of screaming fans and makes people laugh and says things that they want to hear. DeSantis can’t do that.” Rogan said.

“I don’t think he can beat Trump … [I]f Trump’s not in jail, he can’t beat him,” Rogan continued.
Then, Rogan claimed that DeSantis shouldn’t have ran for president since his unsuccessful campaign is “f*ckin’ up” his reputation as a successful governor.
Trump is currently leading DeSantis in all major polls by a significant margin.
