Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, an American businessman, reportedly attacked President Joe Biden as a “puppet” candidate who was supported by the nation’s ruling elite.
He claimed that the oldest president in American history is an example of that class and the chasm it creates in the country.
“There’s a myth that President Biden is running for president. He’s not in a real sense actually running for president. He’s propped up as a symbol for the managerial class.” Ramaswamy said.
“I think the real divide, by the way, in this country is not between Republicans and Democrats. I think we make a mistake by seeing it that way. It is between the managerial class and the everyday citizen.” He continued.
“Why do they say they’re not going to have debates? Because they want to protect him. It’s spitting in the face of even the Democrat Party’s base to say that they will not allow open debate to decide who they go on to nominate, even though [Marianne Williamson] and RFK, combined, are actually polling not that far away from where President Biden is right now.” He added.
“What should I say? Puppet Biden or President Biden? You know we can use them interchangeably,” he concluded.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a prominent entrepreneur, investor, and author who is known for his work in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries is one of the few officially declared candidates pursuing the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
