Erika Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of the organization’s late founder Charlie Kirk, forcefully pushed back Thursday against allegations made by a social media commentator who claimed she had entered a new romantic relationship shortly after her husband’s death.
The controversy erupted after Collin Scott Campbell, who posts under the name Project Constitution on X, published a lengthy post alleging that Kirk had been seen behaving romantically with Blake Wynn at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
In the post, Campbell claimed that multiple sources had confirmed the alleged relationship. He cited an anonymous witness who said Kirk and Wynn were seen together at the hotel’s invite-only Bar 1912 and alleged the pair displayed affection in public. The post further claimed they had been seen shopping together earlier that day and suggested photographs of the two at various events indicated a deeper connection.
Campbell went on to make a series of broader allegations about Kirk’s personal conduct and motivations, characterizing the situation as evidence that she had moved on from her late husband.
The accusations quickly gained attention online, but Kirk responded publicly and categorically rejected every aspect of the story.
“Every single word here is a lie,” Kirk wrote in a reply to Campbell’s post.
Kirk said that on the date referenced in the allegations—May 14—she was not in California at all. Instead, she stated that she was at home in Arizona celebrating her son’s second birthday.
She also addressed the claims involving Wynn directly, describing him as a close friend of her late husband rather than a romantic partner.
“Charlie’s love will last me a lifetime. The Lord is the only one who can ever fill that most painful void,” Kirk wrote.
She added that Wynn, whom she said was preparing to become engaged to his longtime girlfriend, had remained supportive following Charlie Kirk’s death, much like many others who had offered assistance during a difficult period.
Kirk did not stop at denying the allegations. She sharply criticized Campbell, accusing him of being consumed by an unhealthy fixation and showing little regard for the truth.
“Your deranged obsession with me and blatant disregard for any form of truth whatsoever is deeply disturbing and I am praying you get the help you so clearly need,” she wrote.
She concluded her response with a pointed jab, telling Campbell to “Brush off the Dorito dust and go touch grass.”
The dispute is not the first public clash between Kirk and Campbell. According to a March 18 letter from Kirk’s legal team cited by The Hollywood Reporter, attorneys accused Campbell of making false and defamatory statements about her.
The letter reportedly referenced previous allegations Campbell had made regarding Charlie Kirk’s death. Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck in broad daylight on Sept. 10 at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Tyler James Robinson later turned himself in to authorities the following day.
According to the report, Kirk’s legal representatives also cited Campbell’s repeated claims that she was connected to criminal activity involving the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Thursday’s exchange highlighted the increasingly bitter conflict between Kirk and one of her most vocal online critics. While Campbell continued to promote his allegations, Kirk responded with an unequivocal denial, insisting the claims were entirely fabricated and defending both her character and the memory of her late husband.
