Fox News host Sean Hannity delivered an emotional tribute Tuesday to the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), reflecting on their longtime friendship before imagining what he described as the senator’s heavenly home—a place inspired by President Donald Trump, complete with a grand version of Mar-a-Lago and an even more lavish White House.
Hannity spoke shortly after President Trump delivered his own eulogy honoring Graham. During his remarks, the president praised the South Carolina senator’s hawkish approach to foreign policy and recalled a lighthearted moment from a heated Republican primary when he joked about publicly sharing Graham’s phone number.
Taking the stage after the president, Hannity reflected on the many moments he shared with Graham throughout the years, describing the senator as both a close friend and a steadfast ally.
“To my dear friend, to our fearless warrior,” Hannity began, “I will miss our late-night calls, I will miss our strategizing together, I will miss our dinners, I will miss our conversations about the President and the country we both loved.”
The Fox News host also recalled the more personal side of their friendship, saying he would miss their conversations beyond politics.
“I’ll miss the gossip, I’ll be honest,” Hannity said. “I’ll miss talking about how to defeat evil in our time and how to find a path to peace so that peace may one day reign around the world.”
Hannity then transitioned to a more spiritual reflection by referencing the closing words of his television program, which frequently ends with the biblical phrase, “Let not your heart be troubled,” taken from John 14.
That passage includes Jesus’ promise to his disciples about preparing a place for them in the “Father’s house,” and Hannity used the scripture as a bridge to describe what he envisioned Graham’s eternal home might look like.
According to Hannity, the late senator’s version of heaven would naturally resemble the places most closely associated with President Trump.
“Lindsey, Mr. President, I would argue in my mind, probably has a heavenly version of Mar-a-Lago,” Hannity said. “It may even be a little bigger.”
The longtime Fox News host continued building on the image, suggesting Graham’s heavenly residence would feature even more of the gold accents often associated with Trump’s style.
“He may have a little more gold in the Oval Office in his mansion in heaven,” Hannity said.
He also imagined Graham adding another signature feature inspired by the president.
“And I wouldn’t be surprised if he added one big beautiful ballroom and an arch somewhere on the property because he would want to obviously duplicate his dearest friend in life, you, Mr. President,” Hannity said while addressing Trump directly.
Hannity concluded his remarks by offering a final farewell to his longtime friend, expressing confidence that they would one day meet again.
“Lindsey, my friend, goodbye for now,” he said. “We will see you again.”
He also vowed that those left behind would continue the work Graham had begun during his public life.
“We will finish the work that you started,” Hannity declared before closing with another biblical reference.
“Well done good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy lord,” he said. “Godspeed, Lindsey Graham.”
