Attorney General Pam Bondi has reportedly now demanded that Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) issue an apology to Tesla shareholders and others for her recent comments regarding Elon Musk.

Bondi’s comments came after Crockett stated during a livestream that she wanted to see Musk “taken down” on her birthday, March 29.

This remark raised eyebrows, especially in light of recent violent incidents at Tesla showrooms, including vandalism and the discovery of explosive devices in Austin, Texas.

During her appearance on Hannity, Bondi criticized Crockett for promoting violence through her public statements, arguing that words have consequences.

She emphasized that Crockett’s rhetoric was irresponsible, particularly after such significant safety concerns had emerged in Texas.

Bondi urged Crockett to condemn violence unequivocally and to apologize not only to Texans but also to the shareholders of Tesla, underscoring that promoting hostility against individuals perceived to be in power can lead to dangerous repercussions.

Bondi characterized Crockett’s behavior as an attempt to leverage her public platform for personal gain, insinuating that the congresswoman was prioritizing her visibility over public safety.

“But, however, your words have consequences. And what happened after she said that about Elon Musk – she’s a Texan – and in her own home state after she said that, this morning three explosive devices were found in Austin, Texas.” Bondi said.

“So she needs to unequivocally denounce the violence. She must apologize immediately not only to all Texans, but to our country, to the American shareholders of Tesla because she is promoting violence.” she added.

In addition to her calls for accountability from Crockett, Bondi is actively pursuing legal actions against those who have damaged Tesla property, equating such vandalism to acts of “domestic terrorism.”

The conflict highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding Elon Musk’s dual roles as a prominent CEO and an informal advisor to the Trump administration, stirring division among political and public factions.

Bondi’s firm stance against Crockett represents a broader resistance to what many perceive as incendiary political discourse, especially regarding high-profile figures like Musk.

The call for an apology reflects concerns about political rhetoric influencing real-world actions and safety.
