Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene took another swipe at President Donald Trump and his political movement Monday, claiming she “can’t remember the last time” she saw someone wearing the president’s signature MAGA merchandise.

The Georgia Republican shared a post on X featuring a billboard advertising a “Trump Superstore.” Next to the billboard was another sign declaring that the store was “going out of business.”

“I can’t remember the last time I saw someone wearing a maga hat or Trump shirt,” Greene wrote.

The remark marks another shot at a president whom Greene once counted as one of her closest political allies.

Greene, who married Brian Glenn in Las Vegas last month, spent years as one of Trump’s most outspoken supporters in Congress. But the relationship deteriorated as Greene increasingly criticized the president and his administration.

One major point of disagreement emerged last fall ahead of the Trump administration’s release of files and documents connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Greene joined three other Republicans in supporting a discharge petition designed to force a House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, legislation authored by Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic California Rep. Ro Khanna.

The legislation ultimately passed both the House and Senate, and Trump signed it into law shortly afterward.

However, the Justice Department’s handling of the document release sparked additional outrage. Greene, Massie and Khanna were among lawmakers who criticized the DOJ over its handling of the files and the redactions contained throughout the documents.

Greene also became increasingly frustrated with Republican congressional leadership over its handling of the longest government shutdown in modern U.S. history.

Her growing criticism eventually turned into a public feud with Trump.

The president responded by giving his former congressional ally a new nickname, referring to her as “Marjorie Traitor Brown.”

Greene announced in November that she would resign from Congress in January, saying she refused to be a “battered wife.”

Leaving Capitol Hill did not end her criticism of Trump.

In the months following her departure, Greene continued attacking the president, including criticizing the impact of the Iran war on Americans already concerned about the cost of living.

During an April interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, Greene argued that Trump was no longer the same political figure she had supported for years.

“The American people have to open their eyes and deal with reality and deal with truth,” Greene said.

“And the truth is, look, you may have supported President Trump for 10 years, like I did and like you have, but this is not the same man,” she continued.

“This is not the same man that we supported.”

Her latest social media post now takes aim at one of the most recognizable symbols associated with Trump’s political movement, suggesting she no longer sees the president’s trademark hats and shirts being worn the way she once did.
