During a heated exchange on Fox News, host Laura Ingraham reportedly clashed with Representative Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) over the deportation of undocumented immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
The debate quickly escalated as Ingraham questioned the due process afforded to individuals with alleged criminal ties, specifically those with connections to gangs like MS-13.
Ingraham challenged Ansari’s stance, asking, “What process do you think is still due an individual who two courts found had reasonable belief to believe he had an affiliation with MS-13?”
Ansari responded by emphasizing that her focus was not on this particular case but rather on advocating for due process as a fundamental principle of law.

Ingraham, however, pressed on, accusing Ansari of engaging in a political stunt by traveling to El Salvador to protest the deportation. “You went to El Salvador for a political stunt and now you are saying it’s not about him,” she shot back.
Ansari insisted that her far-left advocacy was about upholding the rule of law and ensuring fair treatment for all individuals in similar situations.
When the discussion turned to recent crimes committed by undocumented immigrants, including a murder in Maryland, Ingraham expressed frustration, stating that victims are not distractions.
Ansari maintained that the conversation should remain focused on due process for those deported instead of their brutal crimes.
The exchange culminated in Ingraham telling Ansari to “take a breath,” highlighting the tension between their opposing viewpoints.
Ingraham concluded that Ansari’s stance indicated a reluctance to support deportation, framing the debate as a clash over immigration policy and the treatment of undocumented individuals in the U.S.
