The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reportedly apprehended numerous individuals in Colorado during a raid aimed at a Venezuelan gang.

The Rocky Mountain division of the DEA said on the social media platform X that approximately 50 individuals were apprehended at an improvised nightclub near Denver.

The event was exclusive to invitees and was associated with the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang, according to the DEA.

A video disseminated online by the Rocky Mountain division depicted a bus transporting “nearly 50 undocumented immigrants” from the nightclub in Adams County.

They were apprehended by the Denver branch of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The DEA reported the confiscation of drugs, firearms, and currency during the operation.

DEA agents, in conjunction with officials from Homeland Security Investigations, ICE, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, conducted the raid early Sunday morning.

TdA began as a prison gang in Aragua, Venezuela, but has rapidly proliferated throughout the Western Hemisphere in recent times.

The Biden administration classified it as a transnational criminal enterprise last year.

The apprehensions were a result of a protracted investigation into the gang’s operations within the city.

The raid occurs just after President Trump initiated his immigration enforcement measures.

The gang became as a focal point of the election, with Trump visiting Aurora, Colorado, following the online dissemination of a video of a group of armed men at an apartment complex moments before a shooting occurred.
