The Daily Wire has released the first trailer for its upcoming film Run Hide Fight: Infidels, a thriller centered on Islamic terrorists taking control of a college campus. The film stars Jonathan Majors in what marks one of his latest acting roles.
The trailer opens with a montage of real-world government officials and television news personalities discussing what is described as the dangers of “radical Islam.” Among those featured are Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany. Their comments are accompanied by footage depicting what appear to be terrorist attacks.
The preview then shifts to a scene showing an ISIS flag waving in the wind as an Islamic call to prayer is heard in the background. As the camera pulls back, the setting is revealed to be a college campus in Harper, Virginia.
According to the trailer, the call to prayer prompts people across the campus to stop walking, kneel, and begin praying. After the film’s title appears on screen, the image fades to black before displaying the message, “Coming Soon… Or Already Here?”
The trailer also includes a plot description outlining the film’s premise.
According to the synopsis, radical Islamic terrorists seize control of a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment and use it to impose Sharia law on students while carrying out executions of those described as infidels within what the synopsis calls a makeshift caliphate.
The story follows a group of unlikely heroes attempting to stop the takeover. According to the description, the team includes “a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears, and a Delta Force vet” who join forces to protect fellow students and prevent what the synopsis describes as America surrendering to an enemy on its own soil.
According to a report from Page Six, Jonathan Majors portrays the Delta Force veteran featured in the film.
The release marks another major production for The Daily Wire, which earlier this year premiered the fantasy series The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin. According to the article, the project carried an estimated $50 million price tag and was widely viewed as an effort by the company to emulate HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The new film also arrives as Majors continues his return to the entertainment industry.
Just a few years ago, Majors appeared poised to become one of the central figures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after debuting as the villain Kang the Conqueror in the 2023 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Those plans, however, changed after the actor became involved in a lengthy legal battle over allegations of domestic violence.
With Run Hide Fight: Infidels, The Daily Wire is pairing a politically charged storyline with a recognizable Hollywood actor as it continues expanding its slate of original productions. The newly released trailer offers audiences their first look at the film’s depiction of a college campus overtaken by Islamic terrorists and concludes by asking viewers whether the fictional events portrayed are “Coming Soon… Or Already Here?”
