Donald Trump loves golf. In 2017, legendary golfers have claimed that the former president was the best golfer of all the presidents.
In 2017, for example, CNBC reported that “Gary Player Invitational on Monday, the event’s namesake golfer told CNBC that Trump is by far the best golfer of all the presidents.
‘He really can play. He’s very, very good,’ Player added.
And he should know. During his prolific career, the 81-year old “Black Knight,” has golfed with some of the most influential people in the world, including President Bill Clinton, both George W. and George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson and John F. Kennedy. He has not played with Barack Obama.
‘I have to give the nod to President Trump between him and W,’ added Tom Watson, a former No. 1 golfer in the world, who has golfed with four of the living presidents.
‘The strength is his length, he’s a long hitter. He can really get the ball out there,’ he added.”
On Sunday night, Trump shared a post on Truth Social saying he had won two awards at his golf club in Palm Beach, Florida.
“A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting. The qualifying and match play was amazing. A large and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!” Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social.
The comments proved too easy for his opponents, though it could be out of envy. The White House social media team made fun of Trump’s brag, writes CNBC.
President Joe Biden trolled Donald Trump late Sunday after his Republican challenger bragged about winning — not one but two — “club championship” trophies at his own Florida golf club.
“Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment,” Biden tweeted.
The sharp jab at the golf-obsessed former president quickly went viral after it was posted on Biden’s personal X account. By Monday morning, it had garnered more than 13 million views and counting.
The Democrat’s social media team has been quick this election cycle to zing Trump as they prepare for a rematch of the 2020 election.

The Trump campaign hit back in a statement:
“Crooked Joe Biden is jealous because anything he does physically is an embarrassment— whether it is falling off his bike, whiffing on golf balls, or just generally falling on his ass in front of the world,” Trump’s spokesperson said.
Biden has a history of stumbling and recently was seen wearing “lifestyle sneakers” designed by the shoe brand Hoka to help him from tripping.
The Independent wrote that the “Hoka Transport” shoe has a “wide sole” that is “no doubt great for stability.”
