Trump is going in for the kill. Up big in Iowa, which will presumably end the Ron DeSantis campaign, the campaign of the former president has launched a strategy to knock out Nikki Haley.
They’re going to hit her where most of her supporters get their news: MSNBC.

Donald Trump’s campaign is buying ads attacking Nikki Haley on MSNBC and other television networks that reach liberals in New Hampshire, in an effort to keep the state’s large bloc of “undeclared” independent voters from turning out for the former South Carolina governor.
“Haley’s plan cuts Social Security benefits for 82% of Americans,” the advertisement’s narrator says over images of diverse, concerned-looking people. “Trump will never let that happen.”
Trump advisor Chris LaCivita told Semafor Saturday the issue works in Trump’s favor with a wide range of voters. “The vast majority of Americans want their Social Security and Medicare benefits preserved: Not just Republicans, not just Democrats, but independents,” he said.
When asked for comment, Perez-Cubas, a Haley campaign spokesman, told the outlet, “This is a two-person race between Nikki’s conservative vision for a strong and proud America and Trump’s continued obsession with the chaos and drama of the past.”
A recent poll in Iowa revealed that Nikki Haley is the favorite of Republican primary voters who will vote for Biden if Trump is the nominee. NBC News reported that “Most likely Republican Iowa caucusgoers say they’ll vote for former President Donald Trump in the general election if he’s the GOP nominee, regardless of the candidate they’re supporting on caucus night.
That is, except supporters of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, with nearly half of them — 43% — saying they’d vote for Democratic President Joe Biden over Trump.
The poll also shows three-quarters of caucusgoers believing Trump can defeat Biden despite the former president’s legal challenges. But again, a majority of Haley’s supporters think it will be nearly impossible for Trump to win.”
The first in the nation caucus will occur tonight, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
