According to a new DailyMail.com/Tipp Poll, two thirds of respondents believe Joe Biden is too old to run for a second term as president of the United States and should move aside to allow younger Democrats to compete for the party’s candidacy.
67 percent of those surveyed said that the 80-year-old president shouldn’t run for office again in 2024.
The survey comes as viable Democrats, such as California Governor Gavin Newsom, prepare themselves to run, and supports Republican allegations that Biden is no longer qualified for what is perhaps the most important and difficult job in the world.
Republicans were generally persuaded that Biden should turn over the keys to the White House, according to our survey of 1,214 US people; four out of five agreed it was time for him to leave.
However, the fact that 56% of Democrats who favor Biden concur is what’s actually troubling for him.
Among Democratic voters, just a third said the president should seek for reelection in 2024. Another 10% of people were unsure.
Biden is the country’s oldest president at the age of 80.
Additionally, more than 75 percent of respondents said that he ought to participate in a TV debate with Kennedy and Williamson, the other two Democrats who have announced their candidacies.
According to research, 77 percent of people want Biden to debate those two on stage, but this is unlikely given that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has stated it won’t have a primary debate.
