Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani unloaded on far-left influencer Hasan Piker on Wednesday, threatening to physically confront the Twitch streamer over his past claim that America “deserved” the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Giuliani, who led New York City when the Twin Towers were attacked by Osama bin Laden nearly 25 years ago, delivered the fiery remarks during an episode of his “America’s Mayor Live” podcast.
“Hasan Piker — who knows where the hell he came from. He came from hell,” Giuliani said.
The Republican former mayor then highlighted Piker’s political connections, describing him as a principal spokesman for Abdul El-Sayed during the Democratic primary in Michigan. Giuliani also pointed to Piker’s support for Mamdani and claimed the influencer remains friendly with both political figures.
Giuliani argued that Piker’s views should be used as a measure for understanding Mamdani, El-Sayed and other prominent progressives, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
The podcast took an explosive turn when Giuliani played a clip from Piker’s 2019 Twitch stream in which the influencer declared, “America deserved 9/11, dude.”
“I’ll knock the sh-t out of you!” Giuliani shouted toward the camera after hearing the clip. “You come in here, I’m 82-years old, I will frickin’ knock you out! Say it again, you little sh-t! Say it again!”
Giuliani replayed the clip before issuing another challenge to Piker, inviting him to visit and saying the streamer could wear “knuckle enhancers.” The former mayor added that he once could knock people down with his right hand.
“We’re on the side of God here,” Giuliani said before asking his staff to bring him a statue of Michael the Archangel. The statue was quickly handed to him.
Giuliani held up the figure and explained that Michael the Archangel defeated Satan, saying he would rely on the religious figure if Piker came to him and repeated the remarks about the Sept. 11 attacks.
The former mayor then acknowledged that his reaction might be viewed as an emotional excess but asked to be excused because of his connection to Sept. 11.
“Those people didn’t deserve to die,” Giuliani said.
He said the victims were killed by people acting in the name of Allah and argued that similar killings have continued from 2001 through 2026. Giuliani concluded by saying that although the country has improved, Americans remain afraid to recognize what he described as the continuing threat.
