A transgender activist who briefly volunteered for the congressional campaign of Wisconsin Democratic Socialist Katrina deVille is now reportedly under scrutiny after posting a series of social media videos calling for violence against Republicans and vowing to wage what was described as a “trans jihad” against supporters of the MAGA movement.
Teha Delaruelle, who volunteered for a short period on deVille’s campaign, appeared in one video seated in front of a dry-erase board bearing the handwritten message “kill your local Republican.”
While pointing toward the message, Delaruelle declared, “We’re going to make this the moderate position for the state of Wisconsin.” The activist then urged viewers to help spread the message, saying, “But I need your help, because we have one month do to this, so let’s do it,” before giving a double thumbs-up.
The timeline referenced in the video appears to coincide with Wisconsin’s Aug. 11 Democratic primary, where deVille is competing against two other Democratic candidates in an effort to challenge Republican Rep. Tony Wied, a close ally of President Donald Trump.

In another video posted online, Delaruelle, a biological male who identifies as female, announced, “Just a reminder, we are doing trans jihad.” The video featured a trans pride flag overlaid with an image of an outstretched arm holding what appeared to be a rifle, along with writing resembling Arabic script.
During the recording, Delaruelle claimed that members of the MAGA movement were “the oppressor, the bigots, the animals,” before arguing that conservatives should experience the fear that marginalized communities have allegedly endured.
“We’re gonna do the reverse,” Delaruelle said. “We’re gonna make it so that they will be the ones that have to walk down the streets in fear, anxiety and worry.”
The activist continued by saying the goal was not to create fear for only a brief period but to establish it as a permanent condition.
“And it’s never gonna change,” Delaruelle declared before ending the video by raising two fingers in a peace sign.
The rhetoric extended beyond social media videos. In a Substack post published earlier this month, Delaruelle described what was characterized as an ongoing “genocide” against “trans and queer folk” and argued that violence was the only appropriate response.
“Society desires nothing less than our total extermination,” Delaruelle wrote. “Therefore we must destroy their society. We must answer this call to a [sic] existential struggle, our jihad, our Trans Jihad.”
Katrina deVille responded to questions about Delaruelle’s involvement with the campaign in an email Thursday morning.
According to deVille, Delaruelle volunteered only for “a very short while” before campaign staff concluded the individual was “deeply troubled.”
DeVille said Delaruelle was subsequently removed from the campaign and blocked from all of the candidate’s accounts and social media pages because the former volunteer was “actively creating a dangerous situation around my campaign.”
The Democratic candidate also condemned Delaruelle’s repeated calls for violence against Republicans, distancing the campaign from the former volunteer’s statements and online activity.
