Rapper Nicki Minaj turned Grammy night into a social media firestorm, unleashing a barrage of accusations against Jay-Z and what she described as a “satanic cult,” accusing powerful figures in the music industry of sacrificing children to maintain control.
Minaj, who has drawn attention in recent days for her outspoken support of President Donald Trump, took to X on Sunday evening with a series of incendiary posts that quickly went viral. She began by amplifying a post suggesting that Jay-Z had been predatory toward teenage girls, then followed up by sharing photos of the music mogul with singer Aaliyah and with his wife, Beyoncé Knowles. Minaj framed the images as evidence backing up her claims.

In one post, Minaj escalated her rhetoric dramatically, suggesting dark and sinister behavior among elite figures in entertainment and politics.
“Are y’all understanding that these ppl have been sacrificing children as a way of gaining & maintaining power?” Minaj wrote. She went on to warn her followers against voting Democrat, claiming those who do are “soulless” and would “perish.” Minaj also suggested she has firsthand knowledge of wrongdoing but has so far held back from sharing it publicly, adding that continued “bullying” may push her to speak out further.
Any Christian who votes democrat again is a fool. They’re showing people that it’s ok to disrupt a church during worship. This is how they truly feel about you. The veil is lifted. No morals. No integrity. It’s not enough for them to have an opinion, they’ve escalated to physical…

The rapper then pivoted to her music career, announcing that she will not release a new album until her contract is renegotiated and until she reveals what she described as sabotage uncovered through a RICO investigation involving Billboard. Minaj alleged that unnamed artists have engaged in ritualistic behavior tied to satanic worship.
“Your favorite artist has been practicing rituals in a satanic cult where they take babies from other countries & mutilate & kill them as a form of a blood sacrifice to their God,” she wrote in a subsequent post. Minaj claimed that such acts were required when “your master is satan,” before declaring that “the JIG IS UP.”
She continued the thread with religious language, warning that the alleged rituals taking place that night would fail. “As they do their ritual tonight, God almighty will reveal himself to them. The ritual will backfire on them,” Minaj wrote. She concluded by invoking Jesus Christ, declaring that those who rise against her would be “condemned & put to shame.”
Minaj’s posts also revisited long-circulated claims about Jay-Z’s past relationships. Jay-Z was linked to Aaliyah when she was 20 and he was 29. He first met Beyoncé Knowles when she was 16, though they did not begin dating until she was 19.
While Minaj was dominating social media, she was notably absent from the Grammy Awards ceremony itself. During the broadcast, host Trevor Noah drew cheers from the audience when he pointed out her absence, saying, “Nicki Minaj is not here! She is not here.”
The episode capped off a chaotic Grammy night that mixed music, politics, and controversy, with Minaj’s explosive accusations ensuring she remained one of the most talked-about figures of the evening — even without setting foot inside the venue.
