According to a shocking new report from the Washington Free Beacon, a non-profit funded by some of the country’s largest corporations and left-wing billionaire George Soros is conducting a racial census of House and Senate staff as part of its effort to establish a “Bipartisan Diversity and Inclusion Office.”
Beginning in July, Senate and House personnel received emails from a researcher at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies requesting that they confirm their “race and ethnic identification” as part of a supposed data gathering project.
The researcher informed at least two senior congressional employees who declined to divulge their races that the organization’s existing data showed they “may identify as white.”
Apple, Google, Meta, Pfizer, the Soros-backed Open Society Foundation, and dozens of other wealthy firms and charities have contributed millions of dollars to the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies to support its far-left activities.
The poll conducted by the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies is part of a larger tendency by left-wing organizations to put pressure on companies and governments to enact affirmative action practices throughout society.
The question reportedly angered one of the congressional workers who was contacted for the alleged study. Her office’s team’s racial identity, she claims, has nothing to do with the quality of the job that they accomplish, regardless of the opinions of left wing think tanks.
The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies promotes itself as America’s leading “Black think tank.”
Amazon, Apple, Comcast NBC Universal, Google, and Meta are among its top corporate donors. In 2020, these four businesses contributed at least $100,000 and up to $499,999 each toward the group’s radical goals.
