On Friday, the Democratic Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, reportedly gave his support to the gun control campaigner David Hogg for a position of prominence inside the Democratic National Committee.
It was in 2018 when Hogg rose to notoriety as a teenager who survived the massacre that took place at Parkland High School.
He has been the leader of a number of demonstrations, marches, and boycotts in support of legislation that would take away americans’ second amendment rights.
A photo of Kamala Harris and her old running partner standing together was included in the endorsement that was put on X by the former running mate.
“David Hogg represents exactly the kind of bold, dynamic, and courageous leadership our party needs right now. He has a unique ability to connect with the American people and to speak to the strengths of our party,” Walz wrote.
