It could be the biggest endorsement of the year and it came on the eve of the 2024 presidential election. Joe Rogan, the host of the largest podcast in the world, has endorsed former President Donald Trump. The move could energize Trump’s base on Election Day and potentially boost Republican turnout. Rogan, host of The Joe Rogan Experience, publicly declared his support for Trump following an interview with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, a vocal advocate for Trump’s policies.
In a Monday night post on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Rogan applauded Musk’s reasoning for supporting Trump, calling it “the most compelling case” he’d heard. Rogan wrote, “The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn’t for him, we’d be f—ked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.” Rogan concluded his post by affirming, “For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast.”

For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.

The endorsement drew an immediate response from Trump, who acknowledged Rogan’s support at a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “Thank you, Joe. That’s so nice. And he doesn’t do that. He tends to be a little bit more liberal than some of the people in this room,” Trump remarked, hinting at Rogan’s broad appeal across political lines. The former president expressed appreciation for Rogan’s outreach to a diverse audience, many of whom are seen as politically independent or socially liberal.

Rogan’s endorsement came on the heels of Trump’s own appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, a nearly three-hour interview where the former president discussed his platform, shared humorous anecdotes, and showcased the energy that Rogan later admired. “The guy didn’t pee before the podcast. He didn’t pee after the podcast. He just left,” Rogan commented, joking about Trump’s endurance during the lengthy recording.
Rogan wasn’t the only one to endorse Trump on Election Eve. On Monday, Roberto Clemente, Jr., the son of legendary Puerto Rican baseball player, also announced he was supporting the former president, according to Fox News.
“For the first time, I had to take a step forward. It is very important for me to support this man, because I believe tomorrow is a change of time,” Clemente Jr. said. “My father, the name Clemente, what it means is goodwill and unity. I believe that your team is going to bring it all home. I believe in everything that you stand for right now,” he told Trump.
