According to a recently disclosed transcript, former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade met with Biden administration staff on at least two occasions during District Attorney Fani Willis’ investigation of former President Donald Trump.

As part of Chairman Jim Jordan’s inquiry into the prosecutions of the former president, Wade was interviewed by staff members of the House Judiciary Committee last week.

Last year, a grand jury indicted Trump and his allies on charges that were purportedly related to their attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.

Wade did not provide any information regarding the nature of his purported meetings with White House representatives, such as whether they were conducted in person or remotely.

However, he did acknowledge the existence of invoices and other documents that suggested discussions had taken place.

Wade was inquired about an invoice line that read, “travel to Athens; conference with White House counsel, May 23, 2022,” according to the transcript.

Wade subsequently stated that he did not remember the specifics of the meeting.

He was unable to recall the names of the participants, any potential travel arrangements, or the individuals who were responsible for the meeting’s scheduling.

The transcript does not specify the subject matter of the meetings, including whether they were associated with Trump.

Willis appointed Wade as a special prosecutor in the Fulton County investigation; however, Wade withdrew after it was disclosed that he and Willis had initiated a romantic relationship, which has since been terminated.
