In the CBS Vice Presidential debate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio reportedly emerged as the victorious candidate over Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, as determined by the focus group of renowned pollster Frank Luntz.

“An overwhelming majority (12-2) said JD Vance won the debate, and also felt he was far better at communicating the MAGA agenda than Donald Trump.” Luntz said.

The focus group analyzed the responses of both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris’ running companions in the clip shared by the pollster, and they discovered that the results were not even close.

Luntz stated in an interview with CNN that the focus group was in favor of both candidates and would reverse the Republican and Democratic ballots to place Vance and Walz at the top of the presidential ticket if they had the opportunity.

He also stated that he has only experienced a focus group that had such an overwhelmingly positive sentiment toward one candidate over the other as this one did regarding Vance twice in his tenure.

Nevertheless, he did not provide a more detailed explanation of the other example.
