Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) reportedly disclosed his viewpoint regarding the event’s deficiencies shortly after the conclusion of the Tuesday presidential debate, which was hosted by ABC News.

In a fleeting appearance on ABC during its programming that followed the match-up between former President Donald Trump, who selected Vance to be his running mate, and Vice President Kamala Harris, Vance shared his critique.

“This debate didn’t talk nearly enough about the fact that Americans are struggling because they can’t afford groceries, they can’t afford housing, and their kids are dying of fentanyl overdoses because Kamala Harris has let the Mexican drug cartels take over the southern border,” Vance remarked.

“This is a disgrace what’s going on in our country… and we could do so much better if we just had better leadership. We’ve got the best workers, the most beautiful country, the best natural resources, but Kamala Harris’ leadership is squandering the great benefits of this country. It’s why we’ve got to get back to Donald Trump’s leadership.” he continued.

Harris and Trump engaged in disagreements regarding the economy, national security, border security, and abortion.

David Muir and Linsey Davis, the moderators, have been subjected to severe criticism from the Right for failing to conduct the same level of fact-checking against Harris while questioning Trump’s assertions.

The Harris campaign requested a second debate in October following the ABC debate.

Trump stated on Fox News that Harris requested a second debate due to her defeat.

When asked by Sean Hannity whether he would consent to another match, Trump indicated that he might be inclined to do so if it were broadcast on a fair network. Harris would only consent to one of the three debates that Trump had previously proposed.
