Bernard “Bernie” McGuirk, a conservative radio talk show personality, died Wednesday at the age of 64 following a battle with prostate cancer, his network said early Thursday.

McGuirk formerly worked as a presenter and executive producer for the late Don Imus on his show, “Imus in the Morning,” on WABC.
According to the network, McGuirk began his radio career in New York City in 1986 after graduating from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx. He joined WABC in 2007 to anchor Imus’ show before starting his current program in 2018.
During the 2016 election, McGuirk, a supporter of former President Donald Trump, spoke on the radio alongside Rosenberg, a supporter of Hillary Clinton. The two later began their own show on the network.
Then President Trump appeared on one of the pair’s shows in 2018. In addition to his radio work, McGuirk was also known to make occasional appearances on Fox News.
McGuirk is survived by his wife and two children.
