On Sunday, President Joe Biden reportedly granted a pardon to his son Hunter Biden, despite the fact that he had repeatedly promised the American people that he would not do so.

President-elect Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for this decision.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!” Trump wrote on his social media platform.

“That system of justice must be fixed and due process must be restored for all Americans, which is exactly what President Trump will do as he returns to the White House with an overwhelming mandate from the American people,” a spokesman for the President added.

Over the course of eleven years, Vice President Biden granted his son a blanket pardon for any and all offenses that he may have committed or participated in, regardless of its nature.

The pardon was granted prior to the time when Hunter Biden, who is 54 years old, was scheduled to be punished for crimes involving firearms and tax evasion later this month.

He was exposed to the possibility of serving time in prison.

Since the beginning of the previous year, the older Biden and the White House have repeatedly refuted the notion that the president had meant to grant a pardon to his son Hunter Biden.

A jury in Delaware found Hunter Biden guilty of three felony counts in June, including lying on paperwork for a revolver and possessing the firearm while being a drug addict in 2018. T

he charges were originally brought against him in 2018.

A couple of months later, in September, Hunter Biden entered a guilty plea to a number of federal counts that were related to tax offenses. This occurred just prior to the beginning of a second trial in Los Angeles scheduled to take place.
