Vice President Kamala Harris has not made the customary phone call to congratulate President-Elect President Donald Trump after he won the election.

Trump was declared the winner on early Wednesday morning after he secured victory in battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Trump gave a rousing victory speech at Mar-a-Lago on early Wednesday morning, promising to usher in a “golden age of America” after launching the “greatest political movement of all time.”

“This was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time. There’s never been anything like this in this country, and maybe beyond. And now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal,” Trump began

“We’re going to help our country here. We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything about our country and we’ve made history for a reason tonight. And the reason is going to be just that. We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible,” he continued

The 45th and 47th president told the crowd he will lead the “golden age of America” after his inauguration in January.

“Every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every single day, I will be fighting for you. And with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America. That’s what we have to have. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again,” he went on.

Trump also made sure to call for the nation’s unity during his speech.

“Success is going to bring us together, and we are going to start by all putting America first,” Trump said.

Despite making his victory speech, Harris still has not made a call to congratulate Trump, nor did she give a concession speech after ducking out of her election night party at Howard University on Tuesday night.

According to Reuters, Harris will deliver a speech conceding defeat in the presidential election at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
