On Thursday, Elon Musk issued a warning to Pennsylvania residents that if Vice President Kamala Harris is confirmed for an additional four years, the United States will resemble the dystopian, post-apocalyptic film “Mad Max.”
Musk informed the Folsom audience during his town hall with former President Donald Trump that his presence in the state was due to its significance to the world’s future.
“This election is going to decide the fate of America. Along with the fate of America, the fate of western civilization.” Musk said.
“We want freedom of speech. We want the Constitution to be upheld. I’m being told, at times, that these are right-wing values and I am like, ‘Are you insane?’ This is literally the fundamental values that made America what it is today. And anyone who’s against those things is fundamentally un-American. The hell with them.” he continued.
“This is not the future we want. And if we get four more years of [Harris], I mean, we are going to be fully ‘Mad Max.’ It’s nice to watch a ‘Mad Max’ movie, but we don’t want to be in the ‘Mad Max’ movie.” Musk concluded later in the same speech.
Musk’s appearance follows his vocal endorsement of Trump. Trump’s return to Butler, Pennsylvania was the first time the CEO appeared alongside the former president.
